Sometimes some unknown feelings cherish your heart so beautifully. That time things were the same.
After our dinner I was on the terrace with her. All the family members
of we both, were enjoying the gossips with each other. And as we both
didn't fit in those boring family talks, we came to the terrace after a
twelve floor stair-walk.
The night was young and amazing. The city lights were sparkling till the far end of our eye's reach, and the blowing cool wind was increasing the melody level of the ambiance.
She was my perfect tease-mate. And in those seven days with each other,
I had developed some strange bond with her. I just loved teasing and
irritating her, only because of the smile-n-giggle she gave every time.
"Hey.. Come and see this", I said to her looking at the city lights
from that height. I was leaning a little over the railings with my hands
folded.
"Are you mad ? I am not coming there. Height always scares me you know".
Ohh Yeah..!! How can I forget. She was the same girl who even scared looking down from the mountains.
"Just come once.. You don't know what are you missing". I smiled at her
and after a second, turned my face back to the widely spread lights.
Inspired by my words, she raised her feet and increasing her height
level, tried to look down a little, still standing a meter away from the
railings.
Her innocent sweetness made me laugh. "Tum bhi na.. Why are you scared so much". I stretched my hands. "Give me your hands".
Slowly, she too raised her hands and I took them in mine. They were so soft and cold.
Feeling a shiver in me, I took her towards me. With her trembling steps
she was coming closer. With something unknown she closed her eyes.
Finally when she reached the railings, I made her stop. "Now open your
eyes. I AM here".
Slowly she opened her eyes, and mesmerized by the beauty, whispered a big "WOWW..".
"Masst hai na..??" I smiled, looking at her. I was happy that I made her happy.
"Its amazing.. Seriously.. I have never seen something like this in
my life.." She still was spell bounded. I could see that in her eyes.
For more than five minutes, she kept looking at the far ends, and then
she came closer. Looking into my eyes she moved her soft lips to say
something. And in an unknown expectation I glued my eyes to her. She
came more closer and stopped.
"Tum sach me bahut achhe ho.." She said softly.
In a response, I took her hands in me. And placing her head on my shoulder I replied with a smile. "You too are amazing dear.."
